JAIME DEITSCH BIO
Jaime Deitsch is a passionate, charismatic individual hailing from chilly Metro Detroit Michigan! Her family currently resides in the tropical climate of Houston, TX. Jaime loves people and traveling to new places! She currently works as one of the few female Cruise Directors for Carnival Cruise Lines! This position has allowed her the great opportunity to bring smiles to the faces of millions of guests while exploring exciting itineraries including: the Caribbean, Mediterranean, the Baltic, Alaska, Hawaii, Australia, South America, and most recently - CUBA! Jaime is proud to have been awarded honors within the industry for her abilities to foster new talent. In 2016, she was awarded Cruise Director of the Year, based on guest ratings! Jaime is 5/6 finished with the MHA program and she has enjoyed the variety of class topics and assignments. Within the year, Jaime is looking forward to embodying her favorite Disney character - Ariel by growing land legs and transition to a land based position. She is excited to complete her Masters Degree so she can be prepared for any Hospitality position! In her spare time, Jaime loves to spend time with her family, especially her new nephew! She loves to climb tall mountains, scuba dive and explore the world - her last vacation was spent in Peru, and she plans to visit Bali in the near future! Jaime loves to meet new friends and takes great pride in assisting her shipboard family to accomplish their goals! Interestingly, Jaime's internet connectivity is sporadic, yet she manages to complete assignments on port days. Jaime is looking forward to this course!

Jaime has worked within the Entertainment Department of Carnival Cruise Line for 10+ years. She has been a Cruise Director for 5+ years. Jaime has recently received awards for Youth Support, Entertainment Staff Development, New Hire Support, and Cruise Director of the Year 2016! Jaime is proud that she can play a positive impact on Carnival guest's vacations!
